The advanced lipid profile provides a more comprehensive assessment of dyslipidemia and cardiovascular risk than standard lipid panel measurements. It includes the genetically-determined Lp (a) or lipoprotein a. It also measures both HDL and LDL subclasses and will determine LDL Pattern type. It will also report particle number and all of the standard biomarkers included in the fasting lipid panel.
